About Me

I’m Anna and I live in Co. Wicklow – The Garden of Ireland – in a small cottage with my husband, 3 amazing children and Apollo the cat.

All the materials I use are either recyclable or compostable making it a more sustainable choice. I make all my wreath bases myself using either birch or hop vines. To hold the dried flowers and foliage in place I use rafia, another natural material. I also grow the flowers, grasses, foliage myself and forage sustainably from the hedgerows in Co. Wicklow. Once I have dried and pressed them which can take a few weeks, I create my everlastings. All the products – cards, bouquets, wreaths, pressed flower frames, terrariums and seed packets are handmade or printed and put together by me also. When I need to supplement my stock, I go to Kay in Mayglass flowers who lives just down the road in Wexford.

For years I worked in the IT industry in various different roles, but I’ve always been a nature lover at heart and drawn to dried flowers and their beauty . Growing up my Mum was a keen gardener and still is and my Dad instilled in me a sense of awe and wonder for the natural world from a very early age. Now as I express myself creatively as a dried floral artist, I can smell the meadows of Connemara where I used to play as a child on our summer holidays.

Dried flowers can symbolise longevity or eternal love, as when properly cared for can maintain their vibrancy for years. It is best to keep dried flowers out of direct sunlight and avoid humid conditions.

It has been a journey to get to where I am today, and I am excited about where it is going and what the future holds.
